As a cosmopolitan city, Barcelona has a lot to offer. Every person travelling to this colourful city can look for any activity they like.
If you are a foodie Spain, in general, is a great place to travel as it’s gastronomy and wines are internationally recognised. Barcelona itself has a great selection of restaurants. However in this catalan region is where you find more star Michelin restaurants concentrated in the world. This is something to take into consideration when you organise your event and want to make sure that you will be able to offer a good selection of food and wines to your guests. A selection of incredible chefs who have revolutionised the industry allow us to deliver a good gastronomy experience whatever the cuisine style is.
As you may know, Barcelona is known for its modernist architecture. The city has got plenty of spectacular buildings which are heritage properties and have a story behind. Some examples of those magnificent buildings are:
- Casa Batlló: building constructed by the Catalan Architect Antoni Gaudí who was one of the top exponents of modernism. Casa Batlló is Antoni Gaudi’s masterpiece and has a few areas where events can be organised.
- Casa de les punxes: this building constructed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch is going to open its doors very soon to the public with an original exhibition. The terrace is ideal for special celebrations.
- Casa Convalescència: this building is located in the historical site of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. We find several event spaces that can be rented.
In this post we leave you a short taste of spaces where events can be organised in Barcelona. However, Wedding You Barcelona will publish very soon a post related to different types of Wedding Venues in Barcelona.
